Ms. Claudine Aoun Roukouz, the head of the National Commission for Lebanese Women NCLW, welcomed Asma Dagher Hamade, Head of Women’s Committee at Lebanese Bar Association who is leading a delegation from the committee, in the commission headquarters. The focus of the meeting is on the existing cooperation between the committee and the commission, as well as the work to implement the national plan to achieve Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security, along with coordination to update laws related to women’s affairs, the integration of a gender policy into public policy, and raising women’s participation in decision-making.
