In May 2022, a series of capacity building training with girls and young women from various locations in Mount Lebanon took place with the goal to empower and engage them to bring change in their own community.
The sessions covered a variety of topics, including gender concepts, gender-based violence, sexual & reproductive health, legal discrimination, safeguarding, prevention against sexual exploitation and abuse, as well as how to foster positive male engagement on topics related to gender equality.

On July 5 and 6, 2022, the final group of youth attended the advocacy, communication, and leadership training, marking the end of the ongoing training for more than 60 young people.
Media has a major supporting role in advocating for Gender Based Violence (GBV) topics. As part of capacity building plan foreseen under the “#She Leads” project, Family Rights Forum and Terre des hommes Italy in Lebanon conducted an “Advocacy and Communication” training to a group of young journalists.
