Who We Are

Family Rights Forum

Established in 2011 by a group of lawyers and civil society activists with extensive expertise in humanitarian and social work, fighting corruption, and raising social and legal awareness among family members and the wider society.
Our organization's most important goals are to foster a culture of conversation among the Lebanese family members, to raise awareness about human rights, and to achieve gender equality.

Our Mission

We work on creating a more socially just society in which women and girls enjoy all human rights equally, and the child welfare and family justice systems support children to live safely and thrive within their family while strengthening the family and community networks of children who cannot live at home.

Our Vision

We envision leadership in family thought through being a reference for the family, particularly women, in terms of raising awareness and providing social, financial, moral, intellectual, and legal support. The organization will focus on legal issues in order to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women in legislation, with the vision of creating a society characterized by positive and rational behavior. We work to create a suitable family environment in order to promote social cohesion and stability in Lebanese society.
